SMOOTHIES
Smoothies are a flexible way to support nutrition when appetite is low, time is short, or chewing feels difficult. They can work as snacks, mini meals, or meal add-ons depending on ingredients and portion size.
Smoothies are especially helpful for:
• Low appetite or nausea days
• Busy mornings or afternoons
• Gentle nutrition when solid food feels unappealing
• Adding calories or protein without large volume
• Hydration support
Smoothies can be adjusted easily by changing liquid, adding ice, or layering in protein, fats, or fiber based on needs that day.
Base
All smoothies use ¾–1 cup liquid
Liquid options include milk, almond milk, soy milk, oat milk, protein shakes, or water.
More liquid creates a thinner smoothie.
Less liquid or added ice creates a thicker texture.

Prep Note
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Adjust thickness with liquid or ice as needed.
